Every time I look at this picture, man, it makes me smile.
That’s my brother from another mother right there. My brother Spider.
We first met back during those hard COVID days over in the Juke_9:30 and the Smokehouse zoom Juke Joint. While the world was falling apart, a bunch of us came together through music, laughter, and friendship. Spider became more than just a supporter — he became family. He’s been one of my loyal patrons for a long time now, and I’m thankful for him every single day.
The funny thing is, the more we talked, the more we realized we had a whole lot in common. We’re both Southern boys who love barbecue, good people, and good music. The man can flat-out cook, too.
Then came the harmonica.
Spider used to watch me play on TikTok all the time, and one day he told me I inspired him to pick one up himself. Now he’s blowing harmonica every chance he gets, and I couldn’t be prouder. I already know when he finally hits the stage, he’s gonna bring soul with him.
And seeing him rocking that Fat Mule Records shirt with style like that? Man, that just hit different.
Moments like this remind me how blessed I’ve been to meet real people. Loyal people. The kind who become brothers without sharing blood.
Shout out to my brother Spider. Proud to call you family.
