Man, this whole bingo thing been hummin’ in my head like a half-drunk . I don’t even know why this shit came to me—just did. Some things show up on your doorstep uninvited but feel like home.
Bingo got that apple pie heartbeat. That Sunday church hall energy. It’s part of the American family quilt, right next to baseball games, backyard grills, and grandma’s old radio hummin’ in the kitchen. Everybody done played bingo at least once—same way everybody done skinned a knee off a bicycle. It’s one of them simple, sweet nothings that mean everything.

But look ‘round now. The world done gone digital and dizzy. Games these days got more levels than a high-rise. Takes you months just to beat one. Ain’t no quick win, no cheer, no “BINGO!” hollered ‘cross the room.
That’s what pulled me back, see? Bingo’s the antidote. The opposite of all that endless scrollin’ and tappin’. You sit down, play a few minutes, somebody wins, everybody laughs. Ain’t no leaderboard, ain’t no loot box—just people connectin’ over a few numbers and a little luck.
And that’s what I wanted Fat Mule Records to feel like—the contrast. The calm in the noise. The analog heartbeat in the digital jungle. I started picturin’ folks chillin’ with some Fat Mule tunes spinnin’ low, laughin’ with their people, playin’ a game of Fat Mule Bingo. Fifteen, twenty minutes of joy. That’s it. No rush, no chase—just vibes.
Course, gettin’ it all workin’ was a whole other hustle. Had to figure out the bones—how to send out bingo cards, call numbers, check winners. I Could’ve bought some plug-and-play system, sure. But hell, where’s the soul in that? So I built it from scratch. Fell down the HTML trail, crawled through the JavaScript swamp, wrestled with code till my eyes got blurry.
Wasn’t pretty—but damn, it was fun.

Now I got folks on TikTok playin’ along, vibin’ to the music, catchin’ that same spirit. Ain’t done yet, but that’s cool. The journey’s the jam. I’m learnin’, buildin’, laughin’—and that’s the groove I want Fat Mule to ride on.
If McDonald’s can hand out Happy Meals with a side of games, then why can’t a record label serve up a little fun with the funk? Grab a card, pour a drink, and let’s play a round while the record spins.
That’s Fat Mule. That’s the culture.
So tell me this, sugar—when’s the last time you played just for the joy of it?
