403: I Got My Own Damn Box Office Now

Last night was somethin’ special. Might not seem like a big deal to some, but for me? It was a shift. A step. A whole new chapter.

See, for the first time ever, folks were able to buy a ticket and walk into my livestream show—not through some third-party platform, not as part of some big ol’ machine—but through my box office. My name on the door. My house. My rules.

And let me tell you somethin’—that felt damn good.

It ain’t just about sellin’ a few digital tickets. It’s about ownin’ the process. About bein’ able to stand up straight, look the world in the eye, and say, “This is mine.” My music. My people. My stage. And now? My gate.

That’s freedom. That’s legacy. That’s somethin’ a lot of artists don’t ever get to taste.

What really hit me deep was seein’ folks actually show up. Not just clickin’ around—but believin’ in what I do enough to pay for it. That kind of support? That kind of trust? Man, it’ll humble you and fire you up all at the same time. I ain’t takin’ that lightly.

This whole thing opens up a new world for me. No middleman. No begging algorithms. Just me, my music, and the people who care about it. People who wanna be in the room—even if the room is virtual—because they feel somethin’ real in what we’re doin’.

So yeah, I’m celebratin’ today. Not just for the ticket sales, but for what it represents. Ownership. Possibility. Progress.

If you were one of the folks who bought a ticket—thank you. You helped me turn a dream into a door I can now walk through.

And if you missed this one? Don’t worry, sugar. More shows are comin’. The lights are on, the doors are open in my mind, and the music’s playin’. You’re always welcome at my house of blues.

Tell me—what kind of shows would you like to see me do in this new space?
