You ever ask somebody, "How you doin’?" and they drop a whole damn soap opera in your lap? Like, damn, I didn’t ask for the uncut version of your life. You got folks out here treating a simple question like it’s an invitation to unpack all their aches, pains, and bullshit. Look, I get it—we all got problems. Hell, I got plenty myself. But most folks ain’t built to carry our load.
So here’s the plan for 2025: when they ask how you doin’, give ‘em the good news.

Now, don’t twist it—I ain’t saying we gotta lie. Don’t go puttin’ a shiny bow on a pile of shit. Just dig through the mess and find one thing, just one thing, that’s worth smiling about. Maybe it’s small—like, you woke up breathing, or the coffee hit just right. Maybe it’s big—like you finally caught a break. Whatever it is, call it out. Shine a light on it. Let folks see you got something to be grateful for.
And when you’re the one askin’? If somebody starts unloading their disaster story, it’s on you to steer that train back to the station. Say, "I hear you, but what’s goin’ right? What’s somethin’ good in your world?" It ain’t about being rude—it’s about lifting folks up. ‘Cause sometimes, people need reminding that life ain’t all bad, even when it feels like it.

The truth is, positivity ain’t just for you. It’s for them, too. The world’s heavy as hell right now, and people need a little light. So why not let our words be that light?
This year, let’s call it like it is but make room for some gratitude. Give honor where it’s due—‘cause no matter how rough it gets, the good Lord’s still throwing blessings our way.
2025 is here, baby. Let’s hit the ground running, keep our heads up, and talk about the good news. So tell me—what’s one thing you’re grateful for today?
