423: Still Smokin’ from the Copper Top 🔥🎸

Man, we had ourselves a time last night at the Copper Top. Whole spot was jumpin’. The band? In rare damn form—tight as a new pair of funky boots. My bass player played so hard, his fingers went raw, but you know what? He kept on layin’ it down like a pro. No quit in him.

And the folks who came out? Y’all brought the fire. Dancin’, laughin’, showin’ love—just what the blues doctor ordered.

Now lemme talk about that food... Lawd. They had them smoked wings from the Fourth, grilled up just right, plus some potato salad that could make you slap your sister. Normally I go for those lemon pepper wings, but this weekend? That smoky flavor hit just right. Copper Top always got that down-home taste.

Yeah, attendance was a lil’ lighter—couple clubs on the strip pullin’ folks, and the holiday weekend scattered the crowd some. But the people who came? Y’all were the party. Real ones. And my livestream crew? Y’all came through coast to coast—my true blues VIPs.

Big love to everybody supportin’ the grind, showin’ up, sharin’ the music. Let’s keep this thing rollin'. More nights like that, more soul in the room, more blues in the bloodstream.
