Whole damn crew showed up: Arkansas Stud Dog, Catman, Gummy Bearju, lil’ Gummy, and that other dude… somethin’ with death in his name. You know the one.

Anyway, we was talkin’ trash like we always do, just lettin’ the night roll.

Then somebody—mighta been Stud Dog, coulda been Catman, hell I don’t remember—
they said somethin’ that made the whole circle go silent for a second, then howl.

Man, I damn near dropped my drink.

I said, “Hold up now… that’s a damn song right there.”

Took me a minute to get it right, but I finally carved it out like a name in wet concrete.
